New hardware new titles!

New trax, New feeding server, and 1TB of space!

Thats right! We added 1TB of drive space to allow the longer sets we have been adding, as you may have heard we have several 1-2 hour sets playing often, and we hope to see more!
With that going on, we have upgraded our main stream feed server and provided twice the drive space too!

Who wants to hear a second datafluid stream, including Colorado local DJ's only?

I think we can come up with enough tracks to get you going, so shout out if you think its a good idea! With more new artists coming from Colorado, I wouldnt be surprised if we already have the next great DJ's too!

We were able to work with the EMP Audio group to bring you a new line up of some great new re-mixes and oh so much more.

Starting today and until further notice, we will be running a new 2 hour set every week!

Tune in every Wednesday from 10AM MST - 12PM Noon. Listen to some great DJ's cut-em-up fresh every week!

SkyLab 2006

--- SKYLAB 2006 IS OVER

While it sounded good at first, there was alot of deception.

Firstly, it wasnt 4 stages, it ended up with 2, ( FALSE ADVERTISEMENT )
next, vip was a joke, and not worth the money..

Of course parking was about as bad as trying to hold an 8k person event at the local 7-11, i.e. carpool/taxi or walk forever.

I sure hope they learned something from this, holding 8000 person shows, in this paintball facillity didnt work this time as was hoped im sure, and wasnt anything near what they advertised either. So, good luck with next events, i am surely not attending any more events at that venue, id rather go back to the old days when there was raves in abandon buildings downtown denver.. At least the lack of door charges/very cheap fees used to make up for the crap venue.

Not so smart websites..

So there has been many different sites claiming to be offering the files hosted here.
While they have linked directly to the files hosted here in the past months, they are now no longer able to do this. Instead they will get a nice little pic that says sorry. that last site sucked.. This is in fact theft of bandwidth, and false advertisement.

If you happen to see this picture, dont be surprised.. Just browse the right site for the file, and you can have them. :) Sadly i am sure that many other websites will now see alot of broken links, and to that I say too freaking bad.. I dont care.. In fact id like to see the other sites making these false accusations about said files disappear...
And im sure in time they will.

Myspace profile music, and datafluid.com

Myspace profiles and datafluid music...
So it has come to my attention that a large group of people are using files on my site, to put on thier profiles.
I am ok with this, to some extent, but I would appreciate you at least adding me to your profile out of kindness, as I am the one actually paying for the bandwidth you all are sucking up.
Example:
1500 views to several profiles, of Starry Eyed Surprise.
and about the same to a Stardust song, and just under 1/2 of that on Fiona apple, and Sarah MC.
So if your using the music files, just add me to your profile, so I dont decide to change file names, or redirect profile hits to something like goatse.somethingorrather... ;)

Should this work out ok, I am planning on adding more music, video and image files with all the needed info to place the files in your profile with the greatest of ease..
I dont think thats too much to ask, do you?

Bandwidth on the rise

Our digital fluid is apparently hitting more byte loving listeners, as our bandwidth usage is on a rise!

Up 40GB this last month, to total 235GB of 100% datafluid.com streams pounding your ear drums with the most devine music to please your soul.

Port 8100 what is it?

Port 8100 is up time to time, to specially allowed DJ's to schedule time to freely stream their own sort of audio lovin'

If your interested in streaming some audio, sign up as a user, and schedule some time to use our port 8100 stream.

56k stream offline

Taking the 56k stream offline for a while, as it was distrubing the sending servers performance. Will fine tune and bring it back up asap.

Battery backup replacement

Having to shut down the servers providing the source of the stream for a few tonight, due to a battery replacement for the main battery backup ( APC 1000 RACK MOUNT ) nice machine, but one of the 4 batteries went out, and needs a new one. Anticipate about 10 minute delay in the streams, while the site will stay up, the stream goes down for a few. Regards

ShoutCast Stats block download

I added a block to show shoutcast stats, as I have created for the two center top blocks in this site. Configure to match your shoutcast server, and you must have admin password to be able to use this block. Its located in the PHPNuke area of our downloads section. Enjoy!

Added Low bandwidth stream!

Added a low-bandwidth audio stream, for 56k modem users, use the 56K link at the top of the page to connect, and listen or use the link from our new stream-list blocks on the main page!

Adding some custom blocks

Adding some custom blocks to the nuke package, to display shoutcast statistics, they will be available in the downloads section asap.
